WMC AFRICA DELIVERED THE BIGGEST MEDIA CAMPAIGN FOR FSD UGANDA DURING THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL INCLUSION WEEK 2018

  • A fantastic line-up of some of the 100 FIW partners and key stakeholders that lead conversations on the year’s theme #GettingInclusionRight. Representatives from One World Remittance Limited, Bank of Uganda, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Department for International Development (DFID), Financial Sector Deepening Uganda (FSD Uganda), Financial Technology Service Providers Association Uganda (Fitspa) , Ministry of Finance Planning and Economic Development Uganda.
  • Getting Inclusion Right addressed key issues facing the Ugandan landscape especially the cost of access/usage & ultimately #InclusiveGrowth for all.
  • The Global Financial Inclusion Week 2018 (FIW) was a week of global conversations on the most important steps to advance financial inclusion. We provided advisory for KEY media partnerships to engage with and the key messaging for the media to take note of.
  • The 2018 Global #FinclusionWeek’s theme was “#GettingInclusionRight” focusing on the #FinancialInclusion conversation on the question “What do we need to get inclusion right?”
  • Stakeholder engagement brought a fantastic line-up of some of the 100 Financial inclusion week partners and key stakeholders i.e. One World Remittance Limited Bank of Uganda Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Department for International Development (DFID) Financial Sector Deepening Uganda (FSD Uganda) Fitspa Uganda , Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Uganda together partners from who lead conversations on the theme of #GettingInclusionRight.

  • Strategic Advisory ; We provided advisory on KEY messaging for the get together dialogue. A panel discussion was curated to provide an opportunity for the invited guests, partners and stakeholders to share the challenges, journey and milestones thus far in regards to the theme.
