Stanbic National Schools Championship Stalk Alumi event 2020
Stanbic Bank Uganda hosted the first National Schools Championship (NSC) Alumni event which brought together all previous participants of the Championship to recap on the milestones achieved. To date; •100,000 students have been impacted with life skills, financial literacy, business and enterprise skills •440 business ideas have been generated by students •57 businesses by teachers and nearly 20 businesses have been set up nationwide •6 schools have been supplied with clean renewable energy and water •13 bursaries have been given for secondary and university education

Family subscribers can Step Up to Compact and get Compact Plus while Compact customers can Step Up to Compact Plus and get Premium. The two months promotion will run from 7th March to 30th April 2019.

The Stanbic Bank 4th edition of it's National Schools Championships under the theme "Empowering the job creators of Tomorrow". The annual competition seeks to equip students with business and enterprise skills in a bid to nurture entrepreneurship,creativity and long term business thinking. It targets students at the secondary level of education.

Multichoice Africa Talent factory Sound production masterclass
MultiChoice Africa held the MultiChoice Talent Factory Sound Master Class at the company's Uganda head office in Kololo, Kampala. Vikram Joglekar, a sound consultant from Dolby India was the lead facilitator for the Sound Production master class. MultiChoice will be holding these Master Classes in film/music production frequently aimed at developing technical skills of established creatives in cinematography, audio and storytelling to improve the quality of Uganda's local productions.
African Fintech Festival 2018
The #AfricaFintechFestival2018 saw Zianah Muddu the Engagement Partner for Fitspa Uganda meet with representatives and colleagues in the African Fintech ecosystem i.e. peers from the Fintech Association of Ethiopia and Nike Denis from the Fintech Association in Nigeria. She was also selected to join the African Fintech council.

Looking on are Ag Commissioner General Patrick Mukiibi and Ag Commissioner Domestic Taxes Cyprian Chillanyang. The platform found on the URA website will enable tax payers comply with their tax obligations by making payments using VISA, MasterCard and MTN Mobile money.

Stanbic Bank hands over MTN Marathon Cheque
Mr Patrick Mweheire, Stanbic Bank’s Chief Executive hands over a dummy cheque UGX 250 million to MTN CEO Wim Vanhelleputte as its contribution towards the 2018 MTN Kampala Marathon. The Bank has been a key long-term partner and supporter of the Marathon since its inception 15 years ago. This year, the event will take place on 25th November 2018 and proceeds will go towards improving maternal health in the country.
